Jewelry, Accessories, Candles, Wax melts by MiLiCrafts

Migle love using nature creations in her handicrafts! So here is her story and Shop ;)

Since I was little girl I loved handicrafts, because my grandmother and grandfather were very handy people. They taught me different techniques of creating beautiful things. My grandmother showed me how to knit, sew, crochet and lots of other different things. My grandfather loves working with wood, so had an opportunity to learn from him. All of their life they learn new things and taught me and others.

As a child I spend all of my summers at the country side where I learn to love nature and use gifts of it for my handicrafts. I liked playing with wood branches, reed canes and grass stems.
As an adult I searched myself for a long time where I belong, what should I be and what should I work. And one day I decided that I want to develop the knowledge and skills given me by my grandparents and open my handicraft shop on Etsy. From that day I make hand-crafted items filled with love and inspired by nature.

Unique jewellery art by DovileJewellery

It's a pleasure to introduce very unique artist DovileJewellery. Here is her story and SHOP.

Hello lovely people!
My name is Dovile. I am Lithuanian jewellery artist currently living and working in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, United Kingdom.

I have studied jewellery and smithery in Vilnius Academy of Arts (Telsiai, Lithuania), Escola Massana (Barcelona, Spain).
Past three years I was responsible for running the jewellery studio/workshop in Vilnius, tutored jewellery basics.
I'm actively participating in contemporary jewellery projects and exhibitions.

In the process of working, I approach the different materials with the intention to establish a form of dialogue with it. I am trying to find shapes which have no predictable meaning of jewellery being. Mostly I look through painter‘s and sculpture‘s eye rather than jewellers. At the same time, the leading role in materials takes the metal or wood.
The combination of fragile and monumental materials interacts into the pieces I made. Furthermore, the values which have not depended on cultural or time changes for me are essential in contrast with human fragility, soul‘s aches.

And here Laura's about story.

Laura, designer from Lithuania. I was graphic designer for more than ten years. As a woman I naturally was interested in fashion, wanted to dress and to wear something special. That was a problem because it was hard to find clothes or jewelry what I had in my mind. From my early years I tried to solve such "problems" by making clothes myself.
KUTA story began, when my fiancé proposed to find a hobby, because everybody should have it. Somehow I had forgotten to have such thing. I found it in no time – “designing and making jewelry” I thought will be it. Of course in the beginning all models were for me and only me until I posted one model on Facebook. Many likes and interested people encouraged me to make jewelry not only for me and friends but also to offer for broader audience.
Years passed, my hobby became my work and work became a hobby. And I am very glad for that, because as a graphic designer I always valued work which involved creativity. Till 2016 bracelets were worn by Lithuanian women, now it's time to show bracelets to the rest of the world :) I registered in 2015, but only from 2016 trying to put my works here and trying to find how things works on ETSY :) Hope I will find many jewelry lowers here!
If you are interested in minimalist, classic, modern jewelry design and you found something what you like, fell free to look in my shop and imagine it as your own jewelry box.

With personal attitude just for You,
KUTA

Felted shawls, slippers, baby booties, jewelry by FeltStudioVART

Here is felted distinctive accessories by Vaida Petreikis. Shop FeltStudioVART and all the story.

My name is Vaida, I live in the middle of Europe, in a small country near the Baltic Sea – in Lithuania. Felt came into my life in 2006, at first just as a hobby, but, step by step, this evolved into something else. It’s my passion. It’s my self-expression. My lifestyle. I just believe in what I do. I felt various shawls, ruffle scarves, arm warmers, finger less gloves, slippers, dresses and much more.
Especially I love to make those super cute booties for the smallest ones, for babies! I make jewelry with handmade felt, various interior items from diverse materials, combining different techniques. Felt, metal, wood, stone, even photography - all in one. I love diversity and experiments. In everything. Even my education is quite a strange mix: Bachelor’s degree in Art and Art’s History, Master’s degree in Applied Sociology, Master’s degree in Information Technologies, seven-year studies at the Music school, studies at Textile Art school. I think that all education, all things I did and do in my life are closely related. It's a lifestyle. And art is an inherent part of my life.

By the way, I live in the very center of Kaunas and I love it! Living here allows me to feel the very essence of the city, to participate in its life, to be in it and… To maintain my privacy at the same time. My felt and photo studio is located in an old 19th century building in the main street of Kaunas, so if you ever came to Lithuania, you are welcome in my place!

Edmunda's SHOP and her story....
Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life [Confucius]
This words made revolution in my life. In the very end of the winter of 2012 I made my very first primitive brooch. My husband sold it and others for his collegues. After few month I decide to learn some techniques and in July of the same year I crocheted first bead rope. That was the beginning of my new way of life.
Now jewelry is part of my world. I have more happiness, shining eyes, got huge amount of compliments. Somebody calls me a real artist. I don't care it's true or not. I just do what my hands and eyes wants.
I'm very happy to create creation - some image, something new and with feeling.
So that's why you can find phrase "some elements and findings can be not the same but similar as in pictures" - I'm not factory and I don't have huge amount of the same findings, beads and etc.

Let the garment talk then you are silent with ATUKO

I believe we can express our inner world and the depth of our souls through clothes better than words.

Hey everyone!

I am Atene Malinauskaite. ATUKO is my pseudonym. That's how my husband refers to me. One day I realised that's exactly the name I want to be known by.
Here, in Lithuania, I have a degree in fashion design. During the studies I was known amongst other students for my distinct style, sense of fashion & ambitious personality.
Creativity is the love of my life (sorry beloved husband). I can't recall a single day that I've not been creating new clothes, collections or jewellery in my mind.
The worst case is if I'm still up late at night doing it, which means I won't be able to fall asleep at all. I don't even want to rest when I'm creating! (Have I mentioned that it's the love of my life and all my dreams revolve around it?) :)
When I create I always do it for myself, always try to imagine what I wish for, and what clothes I want to have next season or even next year. I also emphasise on the comfort, freedom, exclusivity, elegance, and of course the quality of the materials. I love minimalism and I believe that the beauty is in the simplicity, the femininity in the secret and the value in the quality. Only a woman that looks aesthetically can create the feeling of luxury and harmony.
I believe we can express our inner world and the depth of our souls through clothes better than words.
My dream is to open my own boutique some day as i sincerely believe that I am heading that way. In the meantime my creations are sold in a few well known boutiques in Lithuania.
I deeply care about each and every one of my clients and I hope everyone is more than satisfied. So please if you have any questions or wishes do not hesitate to contact me. I promise we will find the solution to your query.

I will be looking forward to meeting you in my shop!

Original artworks by Asta

Please meet the artist Asta and visit her SHOP
My name is Asta and I am freelance artist. Painting is a passion for me and is the way I can express my feelings, thoughts, visions I have in my mind. What is very important for me - do this in the way I want, in the way I see the world around me. Usually colorful and playful paintings dominate in my portfolio - warm and bright colors help me to express warm feelings and good emotions which I want to share with the viewers.
I like to play with colors the most. Usually I’m painting on canvas with acrylic. Sometimes I like to paint with ink on paper and add some watercolor. One day I decided to paint some cats’ illustrations for children. I liked it and I’m still doing it! :)
I’m an artist and don’t have normal days :). Painting is my passion and job. Sometimes I paint during the night, sometimes I get up, make my breakfast and start to paint. Sometimes I have a lazy day when I’m looking for an inspiration and need to read a book, go to the Tallinn city center or somewhere else.

Let your imagination go and I hope you will enjoy my artwork!

Drop Of Amber - teething necklaces, pendants, earrings

Great Aiste's Story and her SHOP...

I grew up surrounded by nature and crafting -- my grandmother grew all kinds of decorative trees and knitted lovely scarves, warm gloves and socks. She also dressed my mother in her youth and her clothes taught me elegance and a sense of uniqueness in otherwise bleak soviet fashion.
My grandfather was an amber craftsman (and a national artist craftsman with some prizes to his name) -- his workshop always smelled of wood, resin and amber, his amber jewellery and souvenirs instilled a sense of wonder and amazement in me -- such wonderful things born of hard and precise work and love of crafting and art.
Amber has been used for jewelry since the stone age, from 13,000 years ago. Amber ornaments have been found in Mycenaean tombs and elsewhere across Europe.
First written mentions of amber are found in Greek philosophers' work from as early as 4th century BC and the amber they mentioned was Baltic amber.
Prehistoric commercial routes between Northern and Southern Europe were defined by the amber trade. The Amber Road was an ancient trade route for the transfer of amber from coastal areas of the North Sea and the Baltic Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. As an important raw material, sometimes dubbed "the gold of the north", amber was transported from the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts overland by way of the Vistula and Dnieper rivers to Italy, Greece, the Black Sea, Syria and Egypt thousands of years ago, and long after.
If you are interested in reading more about amber -- check out my blog: aistesjewelrybox.blogspot.com

These days we have our own trade routes and they criss-cross the world freely. Let me introduce a little bit of history and tradition into your life's trade route with natural Baltic Amber!
